Good afternoon,
A few days ago, we received word that @Sshadow had passed back in June, at the age of 45. You guys might have referred to him as Sshadow, or perhaps by his real name, Chris. Chris was a staple of this community for many years, especially as his role as a Package Team Leader here. He also operated a web hosting company for a little while, and many of us (myself included) were customers of his. You may remember it, it was called Empire Hostings. If you knew Chris, you know. He was a class act. He was very easy to get along with. As someone that was on the staff team alongside him at various points in time, I can attest that he was often the peacemaker. When there was a rift between one person and another, he was often the guy coming in to try and resolve the conflict. I can't personally speak to a whole lot of his life IRL, but I know that Chris had three children. Knowing the Chris I knew here at FP, there is no doubt in my mind that he was a fantastic father. Without a doubt, the world is a lesser place without him here.
This topic is a place where you can pay your respects. If you were familiar with Chris, please don't hesitate to share any of your memories/interactions over the years.
Rest In Peace, Chris. Gone, but not forgotten.
