What restrictions does your area have due to the virus? My county is on lock down but it's not required, just suggested. Many businesses are told to close that are non-essential and all schools have been closed. My daughter's place of business is closed but luckily she'll still get paid. My husband's place of business is still open and he's CORE so he has to be in the office for now.

Schools are closed but it doesn't affect me personally. Every single company that has my email address feels the need to email me to tell me how they are "doing everything they can to keep me safe". Because, you know, that foreign company I bought one item from in 2014 can do so much to keep me safe.

Schools closed for at least two weeks, which my daughter loves since she is teacher. My job unfortunately will never shut down, so took a vacation this week.

A friend of mine is concerned about the school situation. He's divorced so when he has his kids he has to figure out how he can go to work if his kids have to be home. I guess it's much the same as if one of the kids is sick, just that you never have the whole school off sick at once with all the parents dealing with it at once.

Stores and schools in the county are still open here. Though, people did start panicking and started purchasing stuff, because everyone else was doing it.

Only good thing the schools here are still offering meals to the children, to make sure they get to eat.

Far as I know schools, bars, and theaters are closed. Most restaurants are switching to deliveries.

Currently semi lockdown is in effect. People are still taking risk. But I kind of find it harder considering we don't have summer yet. And cold is in favor of this.

Schools closed, restaurants closed except for carry out and delivery, bars close, non-essential stores closed, events closed, malls closed, theaters, practically anything that isn't a necessity is closed and we're advised to just stay home for 2 weeks.

I am from India. Myself being a doctor, I am locked up in this hospital for the next few weeks. Its a chaos in here. But my state is doing well with 24 confirmed cases, 3000 under home observation and no deaths so far.

We are entering the stage 3 on transmission in a few days and have started a campaign on handwashing techniques and border traffic control. The economy is down, schools are closed and events have been postponed but life is as normal as it was before for most of them.

My state just announce this past Sunday that schools across the state will be closed for the next 2 weeks. My work and my hubby's work hasn't been shut down yet. However, the department I work in has changed their hours, as of yesterday. They're only working from 10 am to 6 pm and any customer that comes into my department that wants to look at something has to wear gloves or they can't touch anything.

All of the local schools are closed, the restaurants will close dine-in areas so only drive thru windows will be opened, and I found out today that I might be out of work for the next two weeks. I'm not 100% sure yet, because I work in a factory and only three lines are going to continue working, and one of the three are in my building and my area makes parts for them. However, only a few people in my area will be working. My supervisors will have to see what each line has in stock already, and then factor out who would be needing to run parts... I'll either find out tomorrow or Thursday, since I work 4 days a week... I can file for unemployment if I need to at least.

I gave an update on my Facebook profile earlier because people had been asking about them. The Amish live a simple life but they're still aware of the news that's happening in the world and this week they closed their schools but business is as usual for everything else.

Some stores are closing. Some restaurants are take-out only.

Oh, yeah - schools are closed!

Schools closed about a week ago in my county, and they currently plan to be closed until at least April 3rd, but potentially longer depending on what the situation is then. Colleges everywhere have closed their campuses down, and they are doing everything online for the rest of this semester. They haven't legally mandated shutting down businesses yet, but lots of businesses owner are already making the decision of either shutting down or resorting to drive thru, takeout, and deliveries only. My county just officially got our first confirmed COVID-19 case today, so I'm sure it's only a matter of time for everything to be shut down.

My daughter's school is closed until at least April 15th, they are also talking about just cancelling the rest of the year.

I don't know how that will even work, but it seems to be inevitable. Montgomery County Schools (Clarksville, TN) came out today and said that schools will now be closed until at least May 1st. That's a month and a half away.

Our schools are closed until at least March 31st. Since the death toll is rising in my state, I strongly suspect that it will be extended. I am a reading teacher in a very disadvantaged school, so I am terrified for my students. Many of them don't have any support at home; in fact, a sizable portion of them don't even have people at home who speak English to help them with their schoolwork.

Nursing homes, schools, restaurants are delivering, bars are closed too.

And right now I live in a very small town.

She has to report back to work next week to start making up lesson packets so parents can pick them up.
