If you've gotten lazy with your site...what have you done to resurrect your SEO?

Can admit I've gotten lazy with it, I've reached out to a few SEO people to get some work done, need to look into again this year.

Were those friends who helped for free or did you pay?

To resurrect your SEO, there are several steps you can take:
  1. Conduct a site audit: Start by auditing your website to identify any technical issues that may be affecting your SEO performance. Look for broken links, missing tags, duplicate content, slow-loading pages, and other technical issues.
  2. Analyze your keywords: Analyze your current keyword strategy to determine if you are targeting the right keywords. Use keyword research tools to identify high-volume, low-competition keywords that are relevant to your business.
  3. Optimize your content: Ensure your website content is optimized for your target keywords. Use your keywords naturally in your content and ensure it is high quality and engaging.
  4. Build high-quality links: Focus on building high-quality, authoritative links from relevant websites. Avoid spammy link-building tactics, which can harm your SEO.
  5. Optimize for mobile: With more and more people using mobile devices to access the internet, it is essential to ensure your website is mobile-friendly.
  6. Stay up-to-date with algorithm changes: Search engine algorithms are constantly evolving, so stay up-to-date with the latest changes and adapt your strategy accordingly.
  7. Monitor your analytics: Regularly monitor your website analytics to track your SEO performance and identify any areas for improvement.
By following these steps, you can improve your SEO performance and increase your visibility in search engine results in pages.

UX and UI analysis can be also a point because without this you will not force people to revisit your website again.

Based on my knowledge and experience, it is really difficult to do SEO on your forum as it is impossible to maintain the quality of the posts from users.
