How often do you Revamp your forum? Do a major overhaul if you will? What does that entail for you? Do you do a forum cleanup & get rid of members with 0 posts perhaps? Change up your themes? Do a cleanup of old posts that haven’t had any activity in them for awhile?
I keep my members & all posts. I haven’t had the need to do an overhaul at this point in time.

I haven't seen a major revamp since Zetaboards left the forum world. We used to bring all our resources and skills together, put the board offline, install new themes/graphics, do layout changes, etc. in a few hours to a day work and went back online with a newly designed forum. This method pretty much died out as I can see it. Nowadays, I just do small edits to Admin Junkies whenever needed or seemed fit.

I tend not to revamp for awhile. BaysideGAmers is all good as it is 🙂 end of the day people love to stick to what they like and at times I had members that disliked a change, plus a website needs a theme to stick out more regards people see the site theme without the need to look at the same.

Revamping is not cheap anyway, for me and IPB it ends up paying more

Usually, throughout the year I will keep one default theme that I have for my forum and then say for things like Easter, Thanksgiving, Halloween, and Christmas I would change things up such as the theme and the logo to match the holiday. When I had my general chat forum I used to love changing up the themes and logos for holidays like Halloween or Christmas as it was a nice change from the default for those holidays. In terms of deleting members who don't have any posts, I never do that as you never know if the member may be someone who just likes to lurk and one day you could delete them and you may never get them back so I keep all accounts whether they have 0 posts or 10,000.

Trust me, I have never revamped my forums ever since I created them. I feel l;ke looks do not matter much, what matters is your content and traffic.

We've made various changes along the way, but I don't think we've ever done a complete revamp on my current forum. I don't really see a need for it since little to no one has complained about the various aspects of the forum.
