Can you reverse engineer?
I watch too much Sci-Fi lol There’s been experts who ‘reverse engineered’ an item to see how it works & to create one for themselves. If you have done this, what did you do it on? Was it success? Could you make a duplicate of said product?
I guess technically rom hacking falls under this category, since we take an existing game and modify it to do what we want? At least on Sonic Retro, they call the rom hacking part of the forum "Engineering and Reverse Engineering." So in a way I suppose I somewhat know how to reverse engineer. I've been working on a split disassembly of Sonic Chaos on the Master System and Game Gear for a bit now, basically taking the game apart and splitting it up for others to easily be able to modify the game.
I can't say I have ever seen this done or knew it was a thing. It does sound interesting though for sure. I guess if I was to reverse engineer something and then make one myself and I had done it enough I could probably do it quite easily. It does sound really interesting though.
Why would you thought, I mean it's no point what's done is done right 😛 I mean gotta be flip flop flap to see it for real or done it right. I'm no engineer myself anyway. Be cool and epic to actol see it with my two own eyes
