Review Android Help Forum Please

Hi,

I would really appreciate a review of EasyDroid it has been open for just over 2 months now, I have been a Mod on a few other forums before, but this is my 1st one run by me.

First off I would congratulate you for picking up a really catchy and relevant domain it adds to the plus of the site.

Since I am basically a designer first things that sinks into my eyes on a website are the looks here I would say that in your forum color scheme is good and relevant to the subject but theme is way too simple. Android represent modern tech. and power, the theme should also represent this. Header is also too plain needs a renovation.

Sections are really well laid out and so is their description but I would suggest you to get rid of that "Buy,Sell & Trade" section, it is totally irrelevant to the site and keeping the site to it's forte will result in serious memberbase.

My suggestion will be to get new and nice looks first as the forum isn't engaging when ti comes to looks right now also you can think of a portal it is helpful for such forums, you can always display latest news and such there to attract audience.

I was not sure on the name, I had bought other domains too.

The idea was to keep it simple on the design front as its an 'easy' android help forum - but I too have been thinking that it is too simple. I designed the header myself and its the best I can do, I need to find someone with the skills to design a new one (just money is tight at the mo')

Think I will scrap the 'buy sell trade'

... also you can think of a portal it is helpful for such forums, you can always display latest news and such there to attract audience.

If you mean a CMS, I am looking into this, just taking me sometime.

For portal there is a pretty coll phpbb portal mod that you can use.

As for the theme I feel that your point of keeping it simple can be integrated with the design to make it effective yet easy to navigate through
