The background image doesn't match the template well at all, and your theme is still very default-looking despite this change. I would recommend switching to a different theme entirely.
-You have several empty forums on your index. This makes your forum look very inactive, and this can be off-putting to prospective members. I would recommend posting at least one topic in each of the empty forums; even if you simply post an announcement in your empty forums, it will look better at a glance.
-Your descriptions are very bland and robotic. Descriptions can tell prospective members much of what they need to know about a forum. Try to write descriptions that give your forum more voice; make your forum sound friendly and fun.
-Your post and member counts make your forum appear extremely inactive. Even though your forum is approaching seven months of age, I would definitely recommend doing some post exchanges to boost your statistics. This way, your forum will look more active to prospective members.
-Your index runs a bit long. This can make navigating your forum slightly difficult. I would recommend merging some of your forums if possible. This will also make your forum appear more active by making fewer forums with higher post counts.
Final/General Thoughts: I think that there is still a lot of work to be done on your forum. It could still be a great forum with work, though.
