First Impressions:
When I first viewed your site, I was expecting to see something sports related so I was surprised to see that it was video game related instead. Just out of curiosity, may I ask how you came up with the title for the site? The only bad thing I have to say is that title might be a little deceiving. People might come to your site thinking it's sports related (like I did) and they'll be disappointed when they realize it's video game related (unless they happen to be big video gamers). Besides maybe changing the name, you may also want to consider adding an "About Us" somewhere on the site that tells people what your site is all about. Most places will usually add it to the bottom but you can also add a widget on the side so that people won't have to go looking for it. I did like the initial page of your site though. I like seeing the different articles you have there for gaming before proceeding to the actual forum area. That will give guests and members the chance to catch up on news about the video game industry before heading to the forum to actually discuss it. Very nice idea!

Originality:
Unfortunately, video game forums aren't that rare. I know you said you are working on getting some posts made on the forum.....I would really work hard on that prior to opening the forum up to the public. I'm not trying to sound like a Negative Nancy here but most guests want to see places that are warm and inviting. With very little posts on your forum, it'll look anything but. If you continue to work on that, as you've mentioned, then that will help tremendously. Also, you'll need to do something that will help you stand out from the crowd and set you apart from all of the other forums with a similar niche` as yours. Whether that is having some kind of contest, giveaway or some other fun event, that is totally up to you. I don't what is within your ability to do or not do. But you can come up with something fun to do on your forum while you are adding content to the forum.

Thing you liked best about forum: I like the fact that I can read articles about the video game industry prior to entering the forum area.
Thing you liked least about forum: Originality isn't a strong suit for your site.
Overall Mark:
I think with a little improvement, you can take your site a lot better prior to opening it up to the public and beginning the advertising phase. I wish you the best of luck, both for you and your forum.
