Hello FP'ers!

I would like to get your opinion on my photo blog, Fel's Photos. It was opened on February 1st, 2014. Please give constructive critism on the different aspects of the site. It would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

I like it although I think the nav box color is a bit too off from the ocean background.

Edit:

I realize it matches the bottom but the ocean and that color doesn't fit right to me. Could be I'm just being picky. Regardless, I like it! 🙂

Website Name : 9/10

I really like the name of your website, It fits the topic very well and fits your websites content. I am guessing Fel is a shortened version of your name and photos so almost anyone who can read will basically know it's sort of like a photo blog or somewhere in that variation.

Layout : 9/10

I must admit, I am pretty impressed by the layout of the front page, it shows some recent posts of the website which always looks appealing and brings the user's attention. What I would prefer is to add in some more things to your front page, maybe some videos can't hurt (even though the website is about photos,)

Activity : 10/10

I see that you are posting one picture per day except probably for today. I see that is quite active for a photo blog and is really nice that way. I say keep posting one or more pictures per day so you can excite your users per day with your photos.

Design 8/10

I like the logo a lot and think it sort of fits the forum in some way, it just does 😛. I like the header images, they look very cool. Something I did notice was that they're 3 different kind of header images. 2 different ones for 2 specific galleries, I feel like you should add in more different kind of header images for each gallery that kind of is relevant to the gallery.

Final Remarks : 36/40

Great photo blog! I like a lot about it and I wish your blog tons of success, you have put great effort into it.

This is something I've been struggling with, honestly. I used to have a chocolate brown navigation bar, which I thought fit perfectly, but others weren't too into it. So, I'm honestly at a loss as to which color to go with at this point, honestly, haha.

I just changed it to another color to see how that goes over. It's an even darker brown almost black now. Your input is welcomed!

The headers aren't specific to a page, they change every time you go to a new page or refresh. 😉 I plan to add more in the future and change them out every now and then, but as of now, there are only 3.
