Appearance
I like the appearance. I have always loved dark themes and I seem to be really attracted to that neon blue and black color scheme. Very nice my friend. I think your banner is very creative, but it is not really crystal clear. The sidebar feature that can be minimized and brought back is very, very cool. That is one of the neatest features I have seen in a while. Overall, the very appearance of your forum is very nice. I'm impressed.
Layout
This is the part that I think needs some work. A general forum is always very hard to fun because you want to literally be able to talk about everything. Well sometimes you just can't. I think you have way too much going on. Sometimes the basis of creating so many forums and categories is to generate more content. I have seen some small forums pull tons of posts from forums a third of your size. I think you need to take a good look at your forums and condense a lot. Sub forums can you be ally here. Try and combine what you can and shrink the size of your forum.
First Impressions and Interest
Like mentioned above, my first impression is great. The site looks nice and has a good color scheme. However, my interest is hindered because I am just not a big fan of general genre forums. I don't think they do well and I have seen my fair share just not work. I hope yours does, but you will definitely need to keep it filled.
Content
You are still a fairly new forum so you have some work. Once you condense your forums, try and just build content. To keep conversation going you need new content. This is real crucial when you are a general forum. The content you provide sparks the conversation. It takes a little bit of work, but in the end it is really worth it.
