First Impressions & Appearance - (Out of 20)
Alright, first thing I see when I click onto your forum is the group of Mario Characters that your banner is up there.. Personally I think this looks great, excellent job... the banner couldn't be better.
The advertisement is also in a good place and they are designed to fit with your site, so that's a thumbs up there.
I also adore the skin you have, it's so easy on the eyes but at the same time it isn't too dark, perfect balance here.
One thing I do have a complaint about is words " Gamer Zone " and " GZ Power " under your banner. I suggest you remove these two words there, they just look messy, especially since it's just regular text.
As I scroll down and look a bit more at the homepage,I have to suggest you move polls up a bit more, and move Top Posters down more to the bottom.. there's no real need to have Top Posters listed so close to the top like that.
Other than those things there are some good first impressions and I'd likely join your forum if I was the gamer I used to be.

Site Layout - (Out of 20)
I really don't like how you see that list of top posters on the side like that.. it is a little atrocious and doesn't really seem fitting there... your board layout seems to be in order, but in your Announcements Board I have a tiny suggestion, make Introductions at the bottom of the category and suggestions in the middle.. IE:
Category: Announcements
--Board: GZ Power Bulletin
--Board: Suggestions
--Board: Introductions
As I scroll down your gaming category seems to be perfect in terms of the amount of boards, but I don't see the purpose of an entire board for YouTube.. I would suggest you make a SubForum for " Game Sections " and place a subforum for each different game console.
Gamer Polls seems to be OK..
I do however, suggest you move the " GZPower Contest Section " to the " Miscellaneous " category rather than have it sitting in the general gaming category.
Newsletters seems in order, as does the Chit Chat area, but I suggest you make a Chit Chat subforum for Entertainment and Forum Games..
One of my biggest pet peaves with a forum layout is having the trash displayed for guests and members. This is not a good idea. Topics and posts are deleted for a reason. The area should be masked and only admins and moderators should be able to see it (ie staff only ).
Other than those things on the side and those tiny problems in your layout, the layout isn't bad at all.

Statistics and Activity - (Out of 20)
Figure the board was founded about March, and you've got 4k~ posts and 63 members.. this isn't too good. You need to step up promotion and exchanges if you wish to succeed.

Staff Moderation - (Out of 20)
You have 4 staff members, two admins, and one global mod, and a graphics designer.
You don't really need two admins but it seems you trust the other admin well so it is all good there.. I don't however agree with giving that other Global Mod the title " Assistant General Administrator ", this person shouldn't have admin access at all.
The GFX team member seems to just do GFX, so nothing wrong there... all of these members seem to be active other than your GFX Team Member, tell this person to step it up!
You're good on staff for now, I can't suggest you hire anymore until you get about 15k posts or so. I would close apps for now.

Spelling/Grammar & Professionalism - (Out of 20)
The board descriptions lack professionalism.. example, your Introductions category description is " Where you say Hi and all that "
That needs to be improved.. as does pretty much every other description you've got here. It needs to be longer and more professional sounding.
Spelling and grammar, however are very much in order.

Final Remarks:
Your board has some potential. If you really want to succeed you're going to have to get a domain, and be a bit more professional in your forum descriptions and ensure your staff is more active.
There are also a few layout issues, and it seems to me you don't have enough subforums for your members.. you need to break up your gaming category a little better and add an Entertainment area for discussing movies and TV in off topic.

The little sidebars that appear no matter where you on the forum with " Top Posters " and such.
