Review my forum

Please provide honest opinion about my forum http://www.xquizit.info thanks in advance..

Also I'm struggling with users if you can please sign up and add single post would do world of good.

- The banner looks nice, however, something that I would suggest is to add a padding to the logo at the top. As you can see, you have padding under it, but not above it. Nothing big, but something to look at.

- Forum descriptions are a little underdone. In one respect, the descriptions in the Windows Operating System are almost the same for every forum. While this isn't that big of a deal, you want each forum to be unique. Some of the forums don't even have descriptions, so I advise that you take a look at those.

- Too many forums for how few posts you have. Try to combine forums that are almost the same to reduce the amount of forums. Too many of them makes your board look really empty.

Hi Deadmau could you spare few minutes some time and help me out on this just quick category advice i would really appreciate since your review i keep thinking about the changes you suggested thanks in advance.

Your banner extends to the right too much.
Your site is about PCs and Windows, right?
Why do you have a random creating website section?

Overall the site is unorganized, the design is average, the domain doesn't make sense in my opinion (+ it's not easily memorable), and you have way too many sections.

8/10 for effort,
1/10 for the result.

Free Softwares needs to be "Free Software" without the S.
Furthermore, it probably won't be that popular of a section. I would maybe change it to "Downloads" where users can share free software they've found & also share the software they have created.

I would turn Mobile Gadgets into "Gadgets" and allow people to discuss any device; phones, MP3 players, tablets & even hardware.

I would merge Creating Websites & World Wide Web to just be "Internet Discussions" or something similar.

Move Community Information to the bottom of the page. Your site's most important content is the stuff that is relative. While announcements are important, they really don't NEED to be on the top - it will look nicer too 🙂

Thanks ghost really nice I'm going to change it to this and also lastly domain aint good as far as lots of people are concerned changing would work for good or this domain might be ok? if it needs changing any suggestion would be more then useful.

You shouldn't have sub boards in Gadgets. You're not big enough for that yet.

Ok I removed the sub board from gadget as well also looking better.. And Ghost how about sub boards from other categories they are ok?

It's up to you man, but smaller forums (less sections) appear larger at first.
Then again, more sections allow for more discussions & people that don't care what your site looks like (at a glance) will appreciate more places to post.

I won't rate it again as my last rating was mostly on design.
Your focus should be making it look awesome and loading fast, but mainly: how will you get content that can't be found on Google

ghost that's true nothing is there that cant be found on Google so its struggle.
I had few other forums on mind also i might start them also but keep this as the main one and them one side!! one should work if not all hehe

Honestly, I would pick your best idea and stick with it. Having multiple forums can be hard if one (or more) get large & even at a small level, it's hard to put time into more than one.
You could have $33, 330FP and 330 hours.
Think about it...you could:
Put $11, 110FP and 110 hours into THREE sites.
OR
$33, 330FP and 330 hours into ONE site.

I personally think that the ONE site would do better than any of the three.

Ghost I agree with you but this niche seems very hard to get going like you mentioned, but will stick to it and hope for the best.
