Your Forum Review

First Impressions & Appearance - (Out of 20)

The template is very well appealing. Nice soft colors on white. Each category is well spaced out, the blue works very well, and I like how the blue is complimented by the banner up top.

The Banner background adds a nice glow, though, I don't see the need for listing the forum title, and slogan, twice, and on opposite sides for the banner's background? It just doens't look very appealing done that way.

I think it would look a little more tidy if the width were slimmed down, not by buch, but maybe 50-100 pixels; and would also clear out some negative space after each brifr board description.

Site Layout - (Out of 20)

Brillinat layout you have you. The forum is not overloaded with excessive categories and boards, which make finding your way around much greater with ease.

The one thing, I think you should reorder your top category, with the following: News > Inquiries > Introductions. I think Forum Guide would be better placed as a sub-board, and could fit under either Forum New, or Inquiries, since it does offer both what the forum is about; or, helps members who don't understand how each one works. But having a separate board on the main page isn't a good idea; since most of those are self explanatory to most forum users.

Statistics and Activity - (Out of 20)

Stats are doing fairly well in the first couple of weeks. Which is good, giving the forum material, isn't your normal discussion forum, but hosting, which is something hard to get started in the beginning, I could imagine. It's understandible most of your posts are going to come from the off-topic section. Just don't let it get too carried away; make sure to have fresh discussion topics in each section, you main section, so members have new material to browse through, and reply to.

Your member count is very good; but the post count doesn't reflect much activity from most of those registered members, other than what i can see in the Introductions, and off-topic sections, but no too much in what the forum is about.

Staff Moderation - (Out of 20)

Eleven staff members, already? Wow! And almost 50% of whom haven't been online recently. Don't over do things so soon. The hosting sections haven't gotten nowhere near the activity to bring on so many team members.

The only requirememnt the staff have, and almost none of them do, welcoming new members. That's kinda bad, why are there so many position. Over 20% of your registered members, is staff. I don't know what else to say.

Spelling/Grammar & Professionalism - (Out of 20)

Everything looks alright in board titles and descriptions. Even though you spent more time on the off-topic descriptions, then the actual hosting section of the forum. And, in the off-topic, this repeated phrase, "You came with your friends to ..." ; that really makes no sense, especially in the technology board.

also, the "Your" at the beginning of the pub, and cinema description, should be spelt, "you're" , as in You are.

Final Remarks:

It seems like a good idea, but you may have started with too many expectations in the beginning, on those who would actually be using your hosting. Over staffing was just unecessary, It's good to be prepared, but there was no need for so many to come on board so quickly.

What was most liked about the website/forums:

The template and design. Although I didn't understand the double banner placement, the rest of the theme was very nice.

What was disliked most about the website/forums:

The staff team, and almost half them no active, lately. Way too overstaffed, especially based on the post/member count of the forum.

How could I get you (The Reviewer) to join my website?

Honestly, I really have no idea about hosting, and have no plans on it; but, some have taken interestst. Hopefully word catches on, especially for those looking for hosting and discussions, and you can provide them with that. Then, word of mouth will get around, and bring on new clients, hopefully.
