Your Forum Review

First Impressions & Appearance - (Out of 20)

The light colors look great. Though, maybe a little too light in color for my taste. It works well, but once you scroll down, past the banner, and the ad banners ... it just feels empty with no color, all except for the text colors in the body of the forum. I don't know? Maybe slim the width just a tad, and add a different color background or something ( maybe one that matches the banner? )

About the banner. I like it, but it doesn't seem to match up with anything in the temaplate.

One thing I actually thought of recomemnding, if you're not gonna have your category bars match the banner color; why not try it out with your New/Old post icons. Even though the Old posts is an empty square, at least the New posts icon would have some kinda color to compliment the color of the banner.

Your skin/template is good, and pleasing to your members. Just offering what little bit of advice I could.

Site Layout - (Out of 20)

Your site layout is very easy to navigate. Nothing I really need to comment much on here that you haven't already heard, or don't know yourself.

As much as I can see you don't want the same layout as most other promoting forums, I still feel that post & affiliate exchanges should be on top of one another, since they're both exchanges for members to taker part in. Just seems strange there's on exchange, then 3 boards later, another exchange.

Another thing in that same section, it the category title. Not everything in that section is about exchanges, so why not go with webmaster's corner/central ... or what ever kinda word that would fit better in the place of "exchange".

Everything else seem very well layed out. Though, I've always complained that the section for admin owners discussions were in the off-topic section. The forum is about promoting, so seems logical that admins discussing on promoting should be included with other sections realted to this. But, I understand, cause it's more noticeable down below, and the other category does have too many boards as it is.

Statistics and Activity - (Out of 20)

The forum is statistics are doing very well. Probably one of the few promotion forums I actually see making it, and becoming much bigger in the months to come. Members seem to really enjoy the nice change in pace your forum provides.

Though, I have to admit, seems the topics count are quite slim in some sections. Topics , no matter what most of them are about, still draw in a crowd. So, always be thinking of new topic ideas for different sections to help not only to attract more actuivity to those sections, but also give members an idea on what topics they could be creating as well.

All in all, good number of statistics, just when glancing over each section, seems some don't get quite the attention as other sections.

Staff Moderation - (Out of 20)

Your staff seem very active on a daily basis, and most are very welcoming to new members, while posting around the entire forum with really great enthusiasm and professionalism. But, then I took a closer look at some service sections.

I'll probably get in trouble for naming names ... but what has Subz been doing? He's PTL; but there's a package sitting around since 9 days ago. There's another one waiting to be accepted 4 days ago. I could understand in the event of a backlog. But, I have just went through the last 8-9 requests, and no posts from him, on any packages. He accepts them, but has 0 posts by his name in ALMOST ever request he has posted in ( yeah, i used the search function ). But he sure makes an appearance when they're completed and can deduct cash quite well. No offense to Subz, he's a good guy ... but have no idea what his role as PTL is, but to let everyone else handle the workload.

As much as the name TayneC8 makes me cringe whenever I see it, he's actually doing exceptionally well as a PT member. Is very active in the service, and handles requests quite effeciently. I see he hasn't been online the last 48 hours, and is probably why these other requests are still just sitting there. Is he the only one out the 4 PT members actually doing packages?

Your reviewers seem to be top notch on their performance. I've noticed delays in the past; but that was due to short staff. Which 2 team members doesn't sound like enough, they seem to pull it off.

This may seem harsh, but I feel the package team needed to be addressed by what I noticed on the situation. And a Team Leader, who only wants to be in charge, but not lead by example; I just don't see the need, and doesn't reflect well in my opinion.

Spelling/Grammar & Professionalism - (Out of 20)

I remember first coming to the forum, when joining, and only seen one typo, and that was it. and seems there were some i missed that have been brought up; so it's good to see the details taken care of. Nothing I can critique on here.

Even your board titles are great. Short and sweet, while alos being very explantory and inviting.

Final Remarks:

What was most liked about the website/forums:

The community & staff. I know most of the members, so it's easy to log on and dive into topics, and have a good time, while promoting at the same time.

What was disliked most about the website/forums:

The package staff. Don't get me wrong, I know more than most how demanding and stressful the job can be. But i never let it stop me from providing my time to the service ... and I'm just confused why I've only seen 1, maybe another, package team member doing all the requests.

How could I get you (The Reviewer) to join my website?

I'm already a member, and really enjoyed my time. Though, requiremtnes elsewhere have severly limited my time on forums i used to have time for. I still like to check in every now and then. And hopefully soon I'll have more free time to get around more often.

The banner actually matches the style imo, it might not indice the same colors but they blend well together.

Id have to agree with the background though, it is plain but it's hard to find someone to make me one who isn't busy, no matter even if I offer them $..

"Exchange" doesn't always mean giving, trading, buying or selling. In this case it means exchanging of advice, staff, links, advice etc.

The Admin discussion is about webmasters and etc. I do see your point there, however it's also in it's own isolated category, so the off topic section is a good place to put it for now, till I can find a better replacement 🙂.

The topic count is low, id have to agree with you, it's mainly because people just want to post, not much I can do about it, I try to provide as many topics as possible, without over doing it for now.

Subz is having internet issues therefore is having trouble even getting to a computer, Tayne is on holiday, +shadow has started to pick up his game, as for Phatius he just applied, checked the staff section and never has done a package, im going to be thinking of what to do with him now

Short & sweet yet descriptive are great, I recently went and had a look at all the board's titles/descriptions and found a few which I didn't like so I re-worded them to do exactly that, so im glad you noticed 🙂
