It looks great. Would it be possible for you to centre the Quick Registration form and to put it in a static location below the logo or navigation area? I feel it would look much better that way.

Is there a reason why you don't use more of the horizontal screen space?

Its mainly because it should match the width of Blog. I will try to increase width of both of them.
 
It has a nice simple to look at design (it could use a different background, gray on gray is icky) and the stats don't look bad.

I think something to border the forums theme would really nice. Just a few pixels line or something, just so it doesn't feel like it's floating in thin air kind of thing.

I would half the space below the header add to make the space above and below. That's something small and very picky but it's always something nice when things are even.

Also a small space between the login and connect with facebook would look nice.

forum stucture and everything else seem good.

Thanks for the tips these will all be fixed when we get the new theme been made atm. Get ready for v2 of SI!
 
I think a new banner would do, as the forum seems quite plain to me. Possibly another skin for users to choose from as well?
