Design
One of the biggest strengths that I could choose for Imperian was it has a great design & color scheme. The mixture of dark gray and a dark blue as the color scheme really gives the site a sense of creativity. One of my favorite things of your theme was the banner. The banner has a very creative feel and look to it. The colors that you used for the font, the icon that you used and the slogan is very thought of. The font used for the slogan is nice because it is something different then the font used in the banner text. The icon is also the favicon image which is linking the 2 which really makes the site look a bit more professional instead of using a random favicon, you used something related to the site. So overall, your design for Imperian is very well developed, the color scheme is very well thought up and the banner and favicon are very keen. So let us move onto the statistics of Imperian.
Statistics
Looking at the statistics of Imperian, I was very shocked to see the high stats that I had found. I wasn't expecting to see you have 3,792 posts, 522 threads, 51 members and a total of 25 members online at the same time. That was a very shocking thing to see after looking around Imperian. To have those stats for a site that is just a little over 1 month old, that is very impressive and isn't seen that often to be honest. This really shows that you have promoted a good bit and you have kept your current members happy and they are excited to be posting around such a popular forum and they want to continue to support it. Overall, after looking at your stats, I am completely in shock and I think you just need to continue doing what you are doing to keep that streak of success going!
Weaknesses:
Forum Icons
After looking into some weaknesses of your site, I chose the icons to be a weakness. They are just very large on the board and just seem to take a toll on the professional look to the site. The images do look nice on the design and all but they just are very big to me and I just think that shrinking those images down a bit would make a bit more of a difference and really make the site have a more professional feel and look to it. The icons don't make that large of a difference but with a good amount of large icons, I just feel that they take away from the professional design that you have made for Imperian and I don't think that the large images really suit the site well. Overall, I think that shrinking the images just a bit would make the site look a bit better. So let's move onto the final weakness of Imperian.
Layout
I chose the final weakness of Imperian to be its layout. I think that the site has some good boards and look to it but the organization could use some work. One thing thing that I noticed that is a bit out there is the "Adult Cafe". I think that for a general forum, where anybody can join at any age, an "Adult" board should be hidden for only special groups to be able to see so that young ones joining the site won't see or read things that aren't meant for them to be honest. I just feel that something like that, where it can hold "mature" content isn't something that needs to be out in the open and should really be kept hidden from the general public and should also be a right to be able to see a board like that. Also, you have a lot of open space around the site that could be taken advantage of but it doesn't seem like it is really being used up. I would highly suggest you add some more widgets and possibly add some promotion ad spaces to help generate revenue for your site. Overall, the layout really has some gaps in it that should be looked at as soon as you can.
