For non-tech people, a particular open-source software stopped being free sometime back. But people found ways to circumvent it. Now that effort is under threat due to some new decisions.

I don't understand the desire to strip these distros from people. RHEL was an important part of things for a lot of businesses and personal servers, the forks need to stay in play, not everyone can shell out for massive distros at enterprise prices. Shame.
