Right or left side miniprofiles?

I've seen some forums use the right side miniprofiles, like the default layout on the phpBB3 software, and then most forums that are out there use the "normal" layout which puts the miniprofiles on the left side of the page. Which layout do you prefer on your forum?

Honestly, I cannot stand the right side layout of the miniprofile, it just doesn't look right. I've always had the layout to the left side, it just doesn't look right when you have the miniprofile on the right side, but that's just me. 😛

I don't like the right side at all. My focus starts on the left side and I scan over to the right side. I guess it's what I'm used to.

Neither. I have it on top. I kind of like the right layout that I've seen on some phpBB forums though.

I prefer the left side, since it's what I'm used to, but I don't mind the right side, since I'd honestly rather see the actual content first and then look at the user's profile.

I personally prefer the profile to be on the left hand of the forum because I am so used to it. It just looks unnatural when it is not on the left side now.

I didn't know there were right side mini-profiles? Either way, I read left to right so I prefer the mini profile on the right.

I had no idea phpBB did that out of the box - that is horrible in my opinion. I read left to right (like most people) and therefore would rather know who wrote the post before reading. Left sided mini profiles is my preferred option.
