Aside from her perfect version of I Will Always Love You, I didn't know much of her work. But it's still incredibly shocking to hear the news. And definitely sad.

Its really sad that she got destroyed by drugs 🙁 that's one of the worst things that can happen to a celebrity 🙁

I agree. Drugs ruined her life and ultimately killed her. Great singer and actress. Bad drug addict.

Not that I listened to much of her work, but the couple of songs that I've heard are enough to mark her down as genius in my book! The movie was pretty solid too.

I'm saddened to hear of her passing, and hope that she is at peace now since she didn't have any in life.

I read that her cause of death wasn't yet determined and so, it is pretty early to surmise as to what caused it considering the fact that an official autopsy hasn't yet been performed. I say this even though I am of the same opinion.

This is a huge shock though, and definitely sad. First Don Cornelius, and now Whitney Houston.
