Would you still call it a rip if somehow your stuff is inspired by another images and they look similar from one to another? Let's say you saw this awesome music player skin and you decide to turn it into forum skin or a signature or banner or w.e else you can come up with..

Well technically no, but if you get a DMCA thrown at you, then they will most likely see it as a rip.

You could take it and make it the same to a certain extent, but if it looks quite similar, i wouldn't do it.

Be original, think of something new! 😛
