I remove the term "as shown" to inform the user that the word in "CATS" is in all CAPS so has to be an uppercase letter. So I made all instructions direct uppercase or lowercase. There is only one way to write the answer so if you write both letters as a lowercase when one or both asks to be uppercase it will be correct to say the answer is wrong. Be careful and the questions should be more direct now since the term I used before was confusing.
