Your Forum Review

First Impressions & Appearance - (Out of 20)
The first thing I see when I go to your forum is the " ROk 1 Forum " banner at the top. This is a great looking banner, it really blends well with the forum, and has a nice glossy, sleek feel to it.

Then, my eye gets caught on that banner advertisement. I really suggest you contact Forumer and ask them if they can move it to the bottom or something because that advertisement right smack dab in the front, is very obstructive and pulls my eyes right off your great banner onto some advertisement about "Passion.com Sexy Personal Files" ( )

The skin looks great, and all in all, you have a great board appearance going on. The only thing I'm going to complain about is that banner advertisement.. I'm sure there is a way to have them move it to the bottom for you.

Site Layout - (Out of 20)
The layout is pretty good, and I don't see any overdone boards, but I have to ask you, is this a general chat board or a promotion forum?

That promotion category, in my opinion, is nothing but trouble for your site. All it does is draw people to register, post an ad, then never come back. Your site is a general chat forum from what I can tell, and an entire category dedicated to promotion, offering your own posting packages, etc, is just something that doesn't seem to fit at all. I suggest you consider shutting down this category and focus more on your actual forum niche, rather than worrying about all this promotion stuff. All you really need is a board for" Advertise Your Forum " or something along those lines and you're golden.

I see a board for staff hiring, which again, I don't understand on a general chat forum.

I really like the layout, and I think everything is in perfect order with minimal clutter, but all of these categories and boards for site promotion is really taking attention away from the great actual, discussion forums you have, and drawing your site away from regular people who want to post and have a good time, to people who just want to slap their site up in your advertisement boards, then never come back.

Statistics and Activity - (Out of 20)
The board re-opened on June 20th, and you have had about 8k~ posts and from examining your member list, about 225~ registrations. This is pretty good for only a month or so of being open. You're doing real well with your forum. That's about 4 k posts per month you've got going on now, and that is exceptional.

Staff Moderation - (Out of 20)
From your " The Moderation Team " list, I notice one Administrator, you, and you have over 4k posts and about 5~ posts per day.. that's great and shows me real dedication on your part.

I hate to say I can't say the same about one of your global moderators. He has 0.6 posts per day, and from reading through his recent posts, it seems he comes on once every few days, then takes off again, then comes back, etc. You need to get this guy into shape and tell him to work a bit harder, a global moderator, the top level of your forums ladder of staff, should be more active than 0.6 posts per day.

The other global mod has 15~ posts per day which is outstanding, again, shows dedication 🙂

The rest of your moderators appear to be pretty active, so that's another plus there.

Oh, and I believe I mentioned this last time, you don't need to add yourself and your global moderators as forum moderators in EVERY single forum. You're using IPB, and trust me, it's not required on IPB to add administrators and global moderators as moderator to every forum. Once you're in an administrator group, you have automatic global moderator access, and same with anyone who's in the supermod usergroup.

You score well here, primarily due to yours and the rest of your staffs dedication. That one global moderator needs to pick things up, though.

Spelling/Grammar & Professionalism - (Out of 20)
I don't see any spelling or grammar issues other than in the " Graphics Zone " and on your " Showroom " board.

The description reads: Show us all your graphics right here. Get other members to give you feedback on your graphics and images so you can learn in the future.

It should read: Show us all your graphics in this board. Get other members to give you feedback on your graphics and images so you can learn in the future.

As for professionalism, that seems to be in good order also.

Final Remarks:
I really think your board has a lot of potential to succeed. I think at this point you need to consider weighing your options, and look into a paid host for your forum, because one this successful needs it.

I really hate to be the one to say it, but as the reviewer, it's my job.. your site doesn't have a clear niche, which really bothers me. There's entire categories for promotion and another one for site extras, like Forum of the Month, forum packages, etc. These things need to go if you want to be taken as a general chat forum. Unless you're some sort of strange hybrid between the two ( which really wouldn't work anyway ) I think it's time to ditch those categories, and just start a board or two for Advertising.

What was most liked about the website/forums:
The skin, the banner, and the dedicated leadership.

What was disliked most about the website/forums:
The confusing genre and the banner placement.

How could I get you (The Reviewer) to join my website?
If you made it more clear you were about general discussion, and got rid of all of those promotion categories, I'd certainly consider joining.
