Pros:
- I love your top five stats widget on the top of your forum. It shows me the latest posts and topics which will allow me to know where the latest conversation and active areas in general are around your forum. People like to go where there is conversation. This helps them know where to go.
- I love your custom banner and theme! You did good job with the banner and it looks well done. I love your color shades your new/old buttons. Everything flows which is very important in a theme to me. I hate seeing a theme were the colors are all different and there is no flowing. However there was one thing I didn't like about your theme. I included that in the cons section of this review. Other than that good job. It's near perfect.
- You run a active forum considering it's for a clan. You have a good active user base and a good amount of staff, not overstaffed or understaffed. Your overall stats are nice and you average thirteen posts a topic which I'm pleased with. I wish I could get me forum like yours stat wise. Good job and keep up what your doing.
Cons:
- I love the shade of green you chose for you forum. I wished you continued it into the main part of the forum (your categories, boards, etc.) though. Everything below the header is white, black, light blue and/or gray. I'd like to see that green continued. I find those colors dull and sometimes unappealing. Having a color, like green mixed in with the current ones you have we add a nice touch to the overall theme.
-You have a new posts widget on the side of your forum. That widget is basically incorporated into the bigger widget in the header of your forum. Why did/do you need another widget? It really just clogs up the side of your forum index which most members and guests don't like. There is nothing more I can't stand then a cluttered index especially when the same widget is literally used twice.
- New threads and recent threads? I understand there is a difference, recent threads being ones with posts made "recently" and new threads being threads that just were posted, but do you really need both of those? If you must I would recommend simply having each show the 3 latest of those two as those two widgets extend far down on the side of your index.
Final/General Thoughts: Overall I was very pleased with your forum. The cons I listed were things that would not have kept me away from your forum if I were to register and take part in the community. Your running a good forum. Congratulations!
What was most liked about the website/forums: What I liked most about your forum was the theme. I would be perfect in my opinion if you extended the green. You chose the right color for the categories, the right color for the new/old buttons and more.
What was disliked most about the website/forums: What I disliked most about your forum was the widgets. I felt most of them didn't need to be there because they were being used multiple times or were showing almost the identical thing.
