Have you guys seen this? - http://www.roku.com/

Its a little device that allows you stream internet tv-show/movie sites like netflix or hulu on your TV.

I personally prefer watching tv shows or movies on my TV instead of a computer screen.

I have a netflix & hulu plus subscription because I don't have cable. I watch netflix & hulu content through my Wii in the living room so I'm getting a roku for my bedroom. It seems like you can view way more content ("channels") through the roku so I might get one for the living room too if it turns out to be better than the wii.

We used to use one, but now that we have a TV with Netflix, Hulu, etc. built right in (it's a Samsung Smart TV), it's kind of redundant.

So it's like apple tv. I've got more than enough consoles lying around for all the TVs I'd need to use netflix as that's all that I use them for these days.

Yeah, Gimgak. Just Apple TV is more recent (Roku: 2002; Apple TV: 2007) and doesn't run an open source operating system.

Is Roku like Google TV which is a TV operating system for settop boxes which you can use for Netflix, Hulu, Google Services like YouTube, Gmail, and Google Play?

I got one, its pretty cool! Has tons and tons of stuff to watch. Music too.
