We just hit 5k, and have added an achievement feature to the forum! You can view the achievement list here; there's lots to gain and more will be added as we grow, and we hope this adds some more fun to forum - both inside and outside of the roleplay!

It's Winter! - It's winter time in the roleplay, so for a full month there will be winter festivities including the Winter Ball (starting today-8th), a Secret Valentine, Christmas, New Years and winter fun at the mountain tops all month long! You can see more information on the festivals here!
7k Posts and 10k Goal - We just hit 7k last night, and we've set up a 10k goal for the 14th. We've set up a "Guess the Day" competition as well where you can earn a special Achievement. In the last week or so we've had over 2.5k posts!
Custom Theme Preview - The custom theme is now in the coding progress, and a preview was given here! Might be up within the next week or so!
If you're a writer/roleplayer - whether new or experienced, RP4M is a fun and active forum to be apart of, be sure to join up!

COMMUNITY NEWS & UPDATES
Our community has worked hard and finally got us to our goal of 10k posts! And since we've reached our goal, we've added our new custom theme "Writers Essence" (thanks to our Evinta for the name!). It was designed by myself, and coded by Samantha, myself and help from a few others! We hope everyone enjoys it!
Longtime staff member Samantha has also decided to retire, but you'll see be able to see around the board! We're now also accepting staff applications, so if you may be interested feel free to apply!

It's still winter in the roleplay but spring is just around the corner! That means some fun and exciting festivals to wrap up the season will be very soon. Christmas Eve and Christmas are just a few days away; and any members who are active in the roleplay during the festival days might just receive some special presents from Santa! There's also New Years Eve to celebrate the year! Lira is definitely growing with lots more additions to the community. Our side roleplay "Chaos City"; taking place in a city filled to the rim with zombies, is well on it's way but is still looking for more participants and more side plays are always welcome to be created!

Right now we're celebrating the new year with some parties throughout the roleplay. Some interesting plots are also popping up, so now is a great time to join and get involved!

We've also revamped our roleplay area to appeal to a wider audience! We do not just focus on one main roleplay, but several! We now have a category dedicated to three specific genres; human based roleplays, fantasy based roleplays and media based roleplays. Now everyone can join in roleplays that get the attention they deserve. Please sign up and join in, or even make your own roleplays!

Everyone seems to be liking the changes! We've been getting over 100 posts a day since we updated the layout. We have some roleplays started including:
Chaos City: A roleplay based on the Resident Evil series; this roleplay takes place after a virus broke loose and infected a city - mutating people into zombies! Will you make it out alive?
High School: Graduation Year: This roleplay focuses on the life of a typical highschool student that's finally graduating! Take part in some exciting events both inside and outside of school, and good luck!
Lira: A roleplay that focuses on a large city where you can explore, take part in many events and festivals, and meet lots of friends and grow!
Lost World: In this roleplay you jump into space and explore a new discovered planet, and take part in an Interstellar War!
Roleplays In Discussion!! These roleplays are still in the discussion progress, but if you're interested you could make them happen that much quicker!
Harry Potter: A roleplay based on the Harry Potter franchise. The plot has yet to be decided, what do you think it should be? Join and let us know!
A World Divided: A roleplay that takes place during a war between vampires, humans and werewolves. Which side are you on?
Left 4 Dead: No Mercy: Based on the popular FPS game Left 4 Dead, this roleplay focuses on the first chapter of the survival horror game. Choosing from the characters in the game, embark on an adventure facing fast zombies, Smokers, Boomers, Witches, and more!

RP4M now has over 17.5k posts and quickly growing closer to 20k! At 20k we'll be putting up a new custom theme that will add to our growing theme selector and give dark theme lovers another good choice! There's a small preview on the board so be sure to check it out!
