ProBoards has turned into RP central for the usability and ease. That and there are a ton of RP themes specifically designed for ProBoards. =P

That and they automatically have a multi-login system, most software doesn't have that right out of the box. 😛 I know Jcink and Zetaboards does, but Proboards is way more popular than both of those hosts and it's older too, so it's more well known.
