Admin role i know but what about the others ?

-Subscriber
-Editor
-Author
-Contributor

Thanks, I kind of know but I would like to know it better.

Subscribers can comment and are like site users, can't write articles though.
An editor can publish articles and edit others.
An author can publish articles, edit their own.
A contributor can write articles, but can't publish them.

If I remember correctly those are roughly the permissions.

So say, If I were to work for this blog, and I wanted to contribute an article, I would have to forward it to the author before it can be published, correct? Or would it go to the editor and then the author?

Contributers contribute to the blog by posting their entry, publishers publish the entry. Kind of.

It would show up in a list waiting for an editor to publish it. It will be hidden until then.
