Ron Paul or Mitt Romney?

I wish Jill Stein and Gary Johnson were the top dogs, no one would even complain that they're 2 sides of the same coin

The United States is more of a one-party state than a two-party state. Barack Obama (who is essentially a mainstream Democrat) and Mitt Romney (who actually looks moderate next to the rest of the extreme-right Republican Party) are essentially the same person. People only think that Barack Obama is liberal because people in the USA think that supporting abortion and supporting a slightly higher tax rate (both of which are supported by most mainstream European conservatives) make you liberal.
Mitt Romney only looks that way because at this current time conservative lobbyists have the highest bid. His only political position is money. I cannot fathom a worse candidate for president.

The important thing to remember is that RON PAUL IS STILL IN THE RACE. I can't believe how many people I come across that think he dropped out, he is very much still in it!

For what? Republican nominee or President? Because he isn't running as a third party or as a write it (yet). He is still in the Republican race but is not actively campaigning.

Nope, It has been confirmed (yesterday) through the RNC that Ron Paul has enough states to be on the ballot in Tampa. It is not over for Ron Paul!!!
Name the five states. He didn't win five, even if you include Louisiana.

Ron Paul has 6 states and it has been verified by the RNC. He'll be at Tampa. Nevada, Maine, Minnesota, Louisana, Iowa. He MAY have the majority in Massachusetts and Colorado.

this was suppose to be a reply in a similar thread I don't know why it made it a new topic...?
No he doesn't. In Nevada he has the majority support (IIRC few of the Nevada delegates support Romney), but in the first round they are required to vote for Romney. Just because some anonymous source inside RNC confirms it doesn't mean it is true.

The RNC is going to do everything they can to make sure Romney is their candidate. If it means breaking rules they set themselves, so be it.

They've already broken their own rules to make it this far. I am hearing rumors though that they may end up choosing Paul because Romney has made such a horrible impression already. They are starting to find out that Paul supporters won't vote for any other candidate.

Not going to happen, because Paul would already be behind in the campaigning, wouldn't have enough money (Romney has tons of money to throw away and corporate support, which RP doesn't have). Not to mention the entire party has practically ignored him.

Romney is it for the GOP. Personally I would have preferred Santorum, but oh well. Next time

Santorum would have had no chance in the general election. Even less than Romney.
