Nice forum, the style looks fantastic!

I do have one concern though... the header image is way, way too big file size wise. Seriously, it's nearly half a megabyte in size and takes quite a while to load on a slower connection. Perhaps you could optimise it a bit?
 
Tonight I'll mess with somethings in the htaccess regarding file types.
 
It looks fantastic, although it still takes a hell of a long time to load that banner image.

Still, good luck with the site! Hope it does well in the end.
