Who watched the wedding? I tried to watch most of it.

I watched a bit of it while getting ready for school.

Why the hell would I want to watch this? This sht is getting in the way of the real news.

I'm sure I made this topic for those who did watch it. Not anything to do with the real world enws.

Millions of people around the world are starving, and dying due to preventable diseases and the media spends the last two weeks obsessing over two well-to-do people living in one of the world's wealthiest countries getting married.

This is why I lack hope for this world.

Keep the topic on topic please. 🙂

I've seen a small part of it....she looked decent. 😛 I think my british lady is prettier though. 😛

Didnt watch it nor did I care. Also, the "real news" is still broadcast so I don't know what news programs you've all been watching. Its not like you turn on the news and they talk about one subject for the whole hour. They quickly move from story to story.

I agree that the media were a bit over the top in relation to the wedding, but that doesn't mean it isn't news

I don't understand why in 100% of other topics, you can reply to the OP's initial question/post, and then comment further on the topic, but if you give anything but a solid YES/NO here, the OP gets offended and it's considered off topic.

It was quite amusing when one of the horses threw his guard off and was running around and they couldn't catch it, if anyone else noticed.

I can't say I noticed that Tindris but it did make the national newspapers.
I watched, I even shed a tear or two, I thought Catherine looked stunning, very classic 1950's movie icon, almost Grace kelly like. I loved the personal touches, especially how he drove her off in the vintage Aston Martin himself after the wedding breakfast.
While it was lavish, expensive and very upper class it was also a great day to unite our country, to remind us what actually makes us British, to share in a happy occasion for a change instead of a morbid, depressing, grey day.

Believe it or not William and Kate are more like a normal couple than royals, they've actually cleaned toilets on hands and knees and done their own washing. For those of you who don't already know it Kate isn't a royal in any way, she's a normal upper/middle class girl, her grandparents were coal miners.

...and I actually believe they are truly in love.

Could not agree more with you, I'm not a royalist by a long shot but yesterday made me proud to be British
