First Impressions & Appearance

When I first visited the forum, the logo of course, caught my eye. I really like how it's easy to read and light, yet it blends well with the colours of your forum. The use of the images in the background doesn't distort or affect the text in anyway, great job. Now the theme is excellent. I haven't seen many forums using these kind of colours together and I must say it looks great. I loved how you showed the Roleplay Information at the top for users and members to get quick access to the information. However, I wasn't quite sure why you have a weather forecast type of block to the top right. It could be it has to do with Roleplay, but I didn't get the idea behind it. I like the new topic/post icons, but I would of thought you would use a different icon for the Who's Online legend and Board Statistics. Even though it blends well with the theme, mix up the icons a little.

Site Layout

Well the layout is near to perfect. The login and register links are at the very top left of the board, meaning anyone registering would have to scroll right to the top. I was looking for a guest welcome box which could hold those links and possibly list the benefits of joining along with a small welcome message, but I didn't see any. Having a welcome box is a great idea to implement and I would recommend installing or creating one. The forums are well laid out across the board. I love how you have uniquely different names for some of the sections, that's a great addition to the board as many forums use common titles found around many forums. The scrolling affiliates box looks great at the bottom and that is the perfect place for it. It doesn't interfere with the rest of the forum, yet it's there for the members to browse through at will. I don't like the use of a shoutbox, everyone's opinion varies, but I always thought that a shoutbox defies the use of a forum. I know with ZetaBoards they have advertisements as default unless you purchase to have them removed, but have you thought about investing in such a feature? It really doesn't look great with the advertisements, especially when both of them are the same one.

Statistics and Activity

Well, what can I say? The board has only been open just over 4 months and you already have over 14,000+ posts. This is a great achievement and greatly so when you include that you only have 115 members. This shows that there is a great amount of discussion happening around the forum and plenty for new members to join in with. The staff are very active on the forum and I can see that they login in regularly.

Staff Moderation

Browsing through the forum, I couldn't find any signs of SPAM, abuse, swearing, arguing, flaming/trolling or anything of the sort. This could only suggest to me that the staff team are doing a great job in keeping the un-wanted content out. I even noticed in the introductions section that staff members are welcoming and polite to new members, great job! I see you have two administrators and one moderator and you all seem to be doing a great job at keeping on top of things and the discussions going.

Spelling/Grammar & Professionalism

You spelling and grammar are all correct. I checked the forum titles and their descriptions and all seemed to have been spelled right with the correct use of grammar. I also looked through some of the administrators topics/posts and they look to be professionally written especially in the announcements forum. However, I looked at the super moderators posts and I could see a few of them which didn't have full stops at the end of sentences, or did have a full stop but didn't have a capital at the start of the next word.
