I would say organize your portal, theme, and navigation bar.
Make it simple, so your users can easily navigate throughout your site.
Also, try to get an ATTRACTIVE domain as soon as you can afford it.

I click on the link, and I get an annoying popup - brilliant start! >.>
I would remove that popup to begin with, otherwise prospective members will just instantly turn around and leave your forum.
Your title text isn't very readable, also it should be shoved up about 10px or so... Perhaps try it in a white or something - as you have a lot of that anyway!
Marquee scrollboxes are old - don't use them... they're pointless, and infact they're invalid HTML. As a web user you should be striving to meet standards as much as possible.
I think that with some work, you could get a much better welcoming from page - at the moment though, it looks a bit too basic.
Just before I sign off - have a look at the banner - some of the text (especially the bottom white text) is nearly impossible to read! 🙁
Hit me up when you've changed some things, and I'll happily re-do it for you! 🙂
