How eager are you to post up rules on your forum? How long from the time it opens does it take you?

If you are talking about writing rules it can leave me upon 3 days to get everything correct and the word clear. I like to post rules as you wouldn't get privilidged or good members posting good stuff on your forum as it would be spam they could post I take it.

I don't have my rules up yet and the forums been opened for at least a week or 2.

I have rules in place before I open a site that way all users know that there is set rules before joining

Whaaat? You don't have a rules page for your site 2 weeks after opening?

This is something I have done long before I open up. I mean seriously, it's probably the easiest part of setting up a forum when you compare it to installing the boardscript and hunting down themes and plugins.

I would hope that every decent forum would prepare things like this ebfore opening. Just opening up a site immediately is a bit reckless.
