Rumble?

Is anyone using Rumble, the alternative to YouTube to help promote your site through videos? I installed the Rumble app on my phone and started searching for craft videos and was shocked at how little there are on there. I guess if I wanted to jump in on that and get more exposure for my crafting forum that I should consider making a video and upload it there. If I were to do that on YouTube I wouldn't get much exposure because of their algorithms, right?

Forgive my lack of knowledge on Rumble here, but if there's an import option you could try some copyright and attribute free video-clips from libraries like Pexels: https://www.pexels.com/search/videos/crafts/

I found quite a few nice craft related clips on there. Pexels is one of my favourite video and image libraries as they have a nice high-quality unwatermarked collection, for free, and are completely copyright and attribute free.

YouTube videos can perform well if embedded onto a site or webpage, but creating a promo video and leaving the source of traffic down to the organic algorithm probably wouldn't derive too many views. I'll take a look at how Rumble works

That's not the problem. The problem is YouTube... the company itself, is compromised by China, and are doing the following:

- demonetizing channels they either don't like, don't want to send money to, or doing it for stupid reasons.
- shutting down channels that don't align with executives' political views... for example if YOU say that the election was rigged, or stolen on YouTube's videos, your channel is automatically shut down. They are covering for Democrats in this election.

And so much more. I've seen enough that, I'm glad I'm a marketing guy and know where to step, and when to step. I'm not doing videos atm, but if I was like a big YouTube'er, I would be at more risk.

I am starting to hate Google. Not just because of YouTube, but also AdSense.
