To get things clear, this is not my forum, just a friend's. He's curious as to what other people think about his forum. I personally think the layout is horrid and so much could be done to improve it, but he's pig headed and won't listen to anyone.

Anyways, thoughts?

You can purchase copyright removal from IPB in the client area. So just because the copyright is removed does not mean its illegal copy of IPB. But it could be, but we don't know 100% for sure. You could report it to IPB and if nothing happens I guess its legal then. :lol:

Well, the activity is great. Not sure he managed to do that with such a bad layout. And one of my biggest forum pet peeves is when a forum link takes me to a portal.

Most of the activity comes from the game itself. People want too comment on the game, that's mostly it. But he has this "brilliant idea" to put a chatbox on the portal. I have told him time and time again that chatboxes ruin forum activity. Does he believe me? No, does forum activity turn to crap when he adds it back? Yes

The layout is very bad.

Specially the tittle.

The moving background I seen before in a VB site before. Not sure where. But it doesn't go with the site at all.

He copied powerbot, a Runescape botting website.

Pretty sure it's nulled.

It's an RS server community, what do you expect. None of them look good. I remember running one when I was 13 an first starting learning Java. None of them had appealing websites.
