looks good from here, the theme is appropriate for your subject - the forum topics are all within a theme. The logo is legible - and not too big or small.
The only thing would be is that your links images on the portal are mismatched in size, maybe just resize the link images so they are a consistant size and spaced out (no pun intended 😛 ) Just makes it look messy thats all.

I agree with h@ywire everything on your forum is really nice and looks great but the images are the thing that lets it down. You should try and make them 88x 31 or something so it looks a bit neater.
