Your Quick Review
Pros:
At first notice of your forum, I was amazed. I looked at the banner and the overall header, and was blown away. I looked toward's where I thought your banner was, and it was actually harder to find, than most other's on other forums, which is a good thing. The way it just fit's in with the theme is amazing.
I then proceeded to just scroll down the forum and just look at some things. I noticed your New Post/Topic Icon's, and they fit in well with the theme. I also noticed every forum name, as clear as day, which is great.
I really like the rank colours used, they stand out against the greyish black background, and dont make me feel sad every time I look at them.
Cons:
This is probably one of the only problem's with your forum, and that it uses a dark skin. I think that using a light skin would work well, as when I think of a forum relating to a game, I dont think of a theme that is mostly black and grey.
The shoutbox, I say this a lot, there really is no point to a shoutbox, it take's away a lot of discussion from your forum's, as it is not even a click away, they can just type and hit enter and they have sent their message. I suggest removing it, unless you really want it.
Just glancing at your forum structure, you have got it all wrong. You have your General Discussion at the top, and your specific Topic down the bottom. This is a killer, as people wanting to talk about what your forum is related too, have to scroll right down the bottom to access it, which will probably annoy them.
Final/General Thoughts:
I really want to push my point about the shoutbox, it will kill discussion in your forum in the long run.
