Runescape anyone?

I am a keen Runescape player, but must admit with the introduction of the evolution of combat, I am slightly put off the combat side of the game: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A3Lgg7Y2 ... re=related

It now offers 'attack options' similar to WoW or GW, rahter than the old style slash/stab etc.

Anyone else play, or will be leaving due to EoC?

I haven't played it properly for at least two years now, it just doesn't seem like the same game anymore. I hear 2006 was the best playing experience but I don't really remember much from back then. 😛

Well with the new combat system I might finally get into the game. I never liked the combat previously so this is nice.

I played it when I was younger but as I grew older I found interest in new stuff and decided not to play it anymore. I may give it a new go soon though.

I remember playing RuneScape classic. The graphics and playstyle of RuneScape have improved so much over the years. The attack options it offers are no where close to what World of Warcraft and Guild Wars have to offer, but it is interesting out how much their game has been progressing lately.

Used too. Quit when they took away the wilderness. Played for a month when they brought it back, realized it wasn't even remotely the same and haven't played since.. This new combat seems really lame too..

I'm level 13x (not sure exactly) maxed combat apart from range, and a few other 99 skilling based skills.

I am level 103 and have high skills. But, you know..I'm 20 years old. Played this game when I was 14 or so. I don't really enjoy the game anymore like I used to.

"I slash you...wait....you slash me...wait...I slash you." What fun is that?

I have moved onto faster paced/graphic intense games.

Lol I stopped playing Runescape in the 9th grade. I don't really feel the want of getting back into it, I remember it being crappy and annoying, plus I have a 360 for my gaming needs 😛

I used to play Runescape a lot, and then i forgot my Main's username and pass, so i don't play it anymore.
