Do any of you go running/jogging for fun? How long do you usually go for?

I’ve never been one to want to run/jog, I prefer walking. I do plenty of that at my job, though, I walk around for 8 hours a day.

I jog for fun cause it makes me feel good. However, it's also good for my health. I suppose jogging where you'd hate it would be where it's stretched to the limit - like say the Marines or something.

I like to go on long, steady walks. Orders from my cardiologist to keep my lungs somewhat healthy.

Also, as per my cardiologist, no sprinting, jogging, running or cycling for me.

I guess running could be over-doing it with some people, depending on your health. Anyway, walking doesn't give the same feel as jogging. However, though, if you walk for 20 or 30 miles, your legs will give out (One case happened when my car went out.).

I tend to go for more reasonable distances; usually between one and four miles, and typically with a friend in case of emergency. I'm not too concerned with this "feeling," I just need to focus on delaying a potential surgery for as long as possible. Having someone with you really makes the distance fly by as you're distracted by conversation.

I just walk, Yet I do not do allot like I used to. If i'm late for getting on the bus then I tend to run with my heavy bag on me. Many times I had to run to catch the bus. Regards walking used to walk like 30mins into town. Then also I walked for 90mins once from one end of town to the other side

That's not too bad for walking assuming you didn't stop. But walking for me just doesn't give the runner's high.
