Saddest Game

What's the saddest game you've ever played?

Mine is Kingdom Hearts

Mother 3, most definitely. If you think KH is sad, you've never heard Gentle Rain.

The Darkness is a pretty sad game, can't think of many others though.

I think Mother3 is the most saddest game i have ever played.It is a game which make me too sad.But it is a nice game.I like this game.

Not the saddest game I've ever played but the scene with sniper wolf in Metal Gear Solid 1 really got to me. The music in that scene alone counts for an entire game

Final Fantasy 10.. I played it as a kid and I cried at the end 😛

For me it's a tie between FF 7 and Persona 3.

I'd have to say The Darkness too. The ending on MGS2 was pretty sad too.

I'm both surprised that Mother 3 hasn't dominated and not surprised due to its small fanbase.

A boy called Lucas loses his mother. His twin brother goes to avenge his mother and is kidnapped and made into the enemy leader. A monkey is tortured. There is a corruption in society from the invading civilization. Bad values are forced, with home demolitions and such if you do not submit to them. Lucas goes to destroy the enemy forces that have done all of this and during a final battle his mother haunts them while his father watches and his brother realizes what he has done against his family and commits suicide. There's more to it than this, though. So I still highly recommend playing it, even if you read this.

I would say one of the saddest games I played was Max Payne.
It more hopelessness and depressing than others.

The guy just can't get a break.

Earthbound, I can't really explain it. You gotta really play it to apprecaite it.
