I have a Droid 2 now and am due for an upgrade. I was looking at the S3. So you have one and it is all they claim it to be?
I am just not sure about the Samsung Phones. I have always had good luck with the Motorolas, they are very durable and have great battery life.

I was about to purchase one until I received word about the Note 2.Daniel said:

The S3's screen is better, but the Note 2 is definitely more powerful.
Btw, screen size isn't an issue with me, 😉
For now I'm waiting for a smartphone to be built with a certain chipset.. :/

Why not the iPhone?
As a person that sells phones for a living, I think the GSIII is an awesome update from the GSII. ICS is also a nice addition to the device seeing how well Samsung has implemented it. Going off what iPhonefreak said, it all boils down to what operating system you like. I mean both are really good and both offer devices that are just down right amazing. So, like I tell my customers, iPhone is nice for simplistically and Androids are nice for customization. Like I said, both phones are great!
From what my customers have said, the GSIII is really nice and I would recommend it to others as well.

Lets look at it like this.. I have experience (as said in a previous thread) with both Android and iDevices. I can tell you Android devices are better. Also if we're going to put this price wise as in you get what you pay for. I could tell you right now that my Galaxy S2 = iPhone 5, but better. I got my Galaxy S2 for free so have fun paying $500 for the iPhone 5. It doesn't make sense when you can get a product thats is the same or even better than the iDevices at a much cheaper price. Like for example the iPad I already tried out the Kindle Fire and I can also say it is better than the iPad. Also it is cheaper.
It is amazing how over rated and over price iDevices truely are. 😛
I don't want to hear anyone complaining over my opinion unless you have experience (good experience) with both devices. I hate half-opinions about devices like Android and iDevices where you only tried one side and not the other. :lol:

And I highly dubt the kindle fire is better then the iPad, becuase the iPad is killing them in sales and, the specs aren't as good as the iPads. Ad yes it does make sense to buy a product that's better then android and have it beginner price.
But it's fine with me if you like having phones that are copied and made out of cheap plastic.

32GB: $299.99
64GB: $399.99
I think when you are talking about the $649 price, that's the unlocked GSM/CDMA models. All phones are going to be outrageous when buying the unlocked version. Even the GSIII is around $599 unlocked I think.

Sales has nothing to do with what product is better. Most of those sales volumes is the over priced iPad which most iSheeps will buy. Just because they have made more money off it don't mean its a better product.

Like I said again, apple was not the original vendor here. And to note that, look at A LOT o the 4S features that where copied DIRECTLY from the android. So you can not say anything here. This point is an invalid one. So try again.
For the plastic, Sure, ours dont break when we drop it, its lighter in our pockets, its more durability, sorry if we like that better :/

The iPhone is yet another great phone, but I just hate seeing those fanboys going up and stating its all that and better than the rest with no facts. (or at least think they have the facts)
