If I started to explain my current problem, this post would be 50,000 words long!!! lol
So .... to keep it short, are there others out there who have experienced signal faults with Samsung monitors (either through Analog or Digital connection). I have the "black screen" issue myself, which happened 6-7 days ago. I simply walked away from the PC and on return, the monitor wouldn't come out of sleep/standby mode. I carried out all the usual checks (cable, swapping out monitors etc. etc.) and the fault appears to come from the monitor itself.
I am going to pick up a DVI/HDMI cable this next week or two, as I am running on Analog at the moment, so hope that my monitor is either "stuck" on a Digital Source (as the "source" button on the front panel is not providing any "visual feedback") .. or there is a general fault with the Analog input.
Anyway, believe it or not, that's the short version! lol
