Free Backups:
They provide free backups for many hosting packages such as shared hosting and VPS servers. Most hosts make you do it yourself but Scala Hosting will not leave you on your own. They also use R1 Soft Backups integrated with cPanel so you can restore your account without needing to contact support or of course you can contact them if you want them to restore something for you.
Multiple Locations:
They are not like most other hosts that only have servers in one place but they have two. They have servers in Europe and the USA which you can choose from.
24/7 Monitoring:
They provide 24/7 monitoring services (free for some hosting packages) where they monitor your site for any problems so they will be able to solve problems quickly.
