I was thinking for Christianity Haven of scheduling threads for Bible Verse of the Day. Well, my question is, should it be individual threads so that there can be discussion? Or just posts within one thread, and can scheduling be done that way, or does it have to be a new thread?

As far as I'm aware that function is not available within Xenforo's core so you would need an add-on such as...

I've not used it myself but I believe that add-on gives you the option of starting a thread or adding a post.

I've used the above add-on in the past; it works perfectly. If I recall correctly, FP has the same one here, or at least they did at one time.🙂

I haven't scheduled posts on my forums, I always create posts in real time. However, I have used schedule function on a certain forum where I was a staff.

I think scheduling threads are good for promotions, especially if you want to notify your members before an event begins.

I have always made a point to install this add-on on every XenForo forum I've owned. I really don't use it a whole lot, but it can be super handy.

This sounds like a good idea to implement over on Christianity Haven for sure. I think your members will appreciate getting to read different bible verses each day and it can make it easier for you to manage.
