Have you set a screensaver on your computer? If yes, how often do you change it?

As far as I am concerned, I dont have a screensaver set on my laptop because after I use it, its better off being closed rather than to set it to a screensaver. Infact, I eve doubt if Windows 10 has a screensaver option in it. Does it?

Nah no point running screensavers and if your on a laptop and your not plugin it just waste more power.

I don't think I've even seen a screensaver since the days of XP.

Had kind of forgotten about them, but I still wouldn't use one. I just turn the monitor or computer off altogether when I'm away for a while.

Honestly, no idea either 🙂 Although, I think screensavers are a thing of past now. I barely know anyone that has screensaver nowadays. If I really wanted to set up something special, I would just use apps like Rainmeter or such and make an animated desktop.

I have been issued a laptop for my official use in the office. I had my picture for the wallpaper and used the photos in the My Pictures folder to be displayed for the screen saver. But after a month, there was a memo that required all computers in the office to have uniform wallpaper and screen saver, i.e. our bank's logo and picture.

What does Rainmeter do?

Oh, it does wonders 🙂 You can choose premade themes from another users, make your own theme or combine different themes. A lot of themes come with great deal of animated objects, be it icons, cpu / gpu meters, spinning circles and all sorts of sorcery. You can make anything you want out of your desktop. Give it a shot, it isn't that complicated. You could just try few themes made by others. They vary from elegant, minimalistic to SCI-FI, animated to hell. Its all up to your liking.

If I do, it never pops up. I use a laptop and its closed when Im not using it.
