Search Engine preference?

I use Google! Even thought I’m an all-Apple user, I still prefer Google Home over the HomePods (Siri isn’t my eh… favorite assistant). I’ve used DuckDuckGo a few times, I like their user interface and their results are also pretty good but Google is still my number 1!

Siri just generally isn't very helpful though.

I worked at Apple for a few years at the IS&T Design department, I expected that everyone would use Siri and love it…. Or not. I met many people from different departments, including a Siri department and they told me that the vision most people have about Google Home and Siri are two very different things.

Google is an assistant that knows it all, while Siri is more about getting things done quickly. But to be honest… I wish Apple invested much more time into Siri. I think siri could be amazing, if they used much more resources, but the current “vision” Apple has in mind for Siri is just not… it. At least, to me, and many more for sure.

I'm starting to see more advertisements around Duck Duck Go and Bing however, even after trying both search engines I find that I still much prefer Google. I don't know if it's because they have such established algorithm technology in place but I just find it so each to find what I'm searching for using Google. As a kid I remember using Yahoo! however, I remember my digital world just expanding quite a bit more at the discovery of Google. Which is your search engine preference?
I have been using Google Chrome for a long time now but I joined using DuckDuckGo .
