Just to let you all know Google is probably the slowest when it comes to submitting a site to them, unlike Yahoo which i was added within a couple days, Google barely added me (probably like 1-2 weeks after).

Not really, i submitted my site to google the other day and i checked again 2 days ago and its there.

Mine still isnt on Yahoo.

We have just started to get hell of alot of hits from yahoo in the last 2 days which seems promising. I am getting more hits from them then google now -😉-

Fowler just wondering do you have a meta tag mod? If not you should do it ill tell you what mine it is helps a lot especially with the spiders and junk 🙂

I have added meta tags into the header of the forum but i don't have a meta tag mod installed.

Yeah i find the mod easier if i want to change it yet the header still works. Yet I still am wondering how to fix this one mod i have (diggmod) to make it go into just the first post, I had done it before but can't figure it out now 🙁

Google will find your forum eventually so there isn't really a need to submit it.

I beg to differ I believe every search engine requires you to submit your site other wise they just skip over it or won't even bother viewing your site.

They can find forums without submitting them for example if you post a link on a forum like this over time the googlebot will find that link, visit your forum and add it to their index at a later date.

If you google "promote 4 free" there is alot of topics that i have made on other promotion sites promoting promote 4 free.

There is a topic for:

The website of the month topic i made here
The promoting topic for promote 4 free i made here
Promotion topic on FreeForums.org Support forum
and another one on a different promotion forum.

But if you google "promote4free" it only brings up the proper site.

Yes but they will find links on other sites, but that will be the other sites content if they are added to the google search engine. This does NOT fully mean that Google will add you to their search engine.
