The Second Republican Presidential Debate took place just a few days ago. Trump was a no show, once again.

We saw the same seven candidates that we saw in the first debate, all who are no where near Trump or Biden in polling.

Out of the seven, who would you say won the debate? Who lost?

Who will probably not be in in the next debate?

Most memorable moment as well:

Chris Christie referring to Trump:

"We're going to call you Donald Duck."

I think Christie lost the debate just from that ridiculous line.

One more moment:

Mike Pence saying

"I've been sleeping with a teacher for 38 years."

Like seriously, just drop out.

@John needs to share his thoughts.

I love how you tag me, lol, like you know I watched it haha.

The debate was a cess pool and a sham. There is honestly zero point in it. If the primary was today, tomorrow, in ten years - Republican voters would vote for Trump. They should all drop out, really. Unless the party leadership decides they won't be allowing Trump to be their nominee (which would destory the party forever) - Trump will win - in a landslide. The candidates (with the exception of DeSantis) are awful candidates that do absolutely nothing whatsoever to appeal to the majority of Republican and swing voters.

On another note, since Cameron invited me to share my opinion on politics (bad decison, dude, I'll talk until the rooster crows, haha). People (especially from other countries) seem to forget what drives people to Trump. It's not that their racist, white, old, insensitive, or anything of that nature. There is a very, very large group of Americans that feel oppressed and that the "Rich Men North of Richmond" don't care about their interests - and frankly - they're correct. Trump was the one who took issues like boarder security, funding for dumb wars, and trade deals that outsourced jobs from American workers to mainstream people and for the first time in quite a while - he did something to at least attempt to fix those issues. For the most part, politicans ignored those issues and tried to stay on issues like gun rights, abortion, and military funding as much as possible - when in reality - those issues don't really matter that much to a third generation steel worker in Pennsylvania who has had his job sent to another country. I voted for Trump twice, and would again do so if it's again Trump vs Biden (though I would very carefully consider Kennedy). He's not a good person, at all. I don't especially like that, but he's not a politican and he says whatever the hell he thinks and that gives him an appeal unlike anyone else. He's his own person, and outside of COVID, I can say my life was better under his administration than under the Biden administration.

I didn't watch the debate, but I heard soundbites. I agree with everything John, and Cam on the candidates that lost and won.

Trump won without even being there. Stop. You can't win with Trump around.

I am not voting Mike Pence. Anyone that does is a true IDIOT. Pence is hardcore RINO. Fist bumped Democrats. I shake my head in disbelief.

I don't know Chris Christie very well, only second hand. But his attitude and/or comments were like... WTF? Is this why people hate him?

Ron DeSantis is a sad political study. DeSantis had this surge up until last November. Why on God's green earth would he change what WORKED!? You don't change strategies when your polls are HIGH. Whomever is running HIS campaigns is/are sabotaging and shooting his feet.

Trump gave him all the voting powers he needed to win, and DeSantis backstabbed him.

I like what he's been doing in Florida, but he did or does make some mistakes.

If anyone won the debate... Its Vivek.

If you only discovered Ramaswamy. I'll help you out...

Is there an option to select a new batch of candidates? Not saying republican vs. democrat is better; but none of these candidates that appeared in the debate need to be president. Lol

There's Independents, but the "final fight" for the presidency is usually between Republicans and Democrats. Thing is, this is a Republican Debate.

I’m aware. I was stating that my concern that none of these candidates appear to be presidential was not based on my belief that Democrats are better than Republicans, but simply stating that none of them seem to be worth while entertaining within the party.

What, not even Vivek?

But yeah, I kinda agree.

So how does RFK running as an independent shake things up?
