One issue i've always found with "permanent" backlinks is simple, what happens when you sell the site off later? What if the new owner doesn't want to have the backlink on there?
So my question is, do you plan to keep the site going forever, or at least put up a page with the links on it? If you sell it, will you make sure to include the fact you've sold backlinks on it and they must remain?
I genuinely plan on keeping the topsite forever. I like maintaining it and advertising it.
I am doing it for fun and I found out that I can actually make a few bucks on it so I am going to.
I won't be selling, I only made it to gather a lot of traffic and page rank to promote any of my other projects.
Sounds pretty good to me, and I know what you mean. I've been thinking about selling my toplist recently but I just can't seem to let go. I've already got another in plans, but it may or may not happen.
I won't buy a link now, think i'll wait until after the next PR update and see how things are going for ya 🙂
