Few forums the link of the post would be like topic,1530.0.html and for some it would be thread/hello-all/ Does the second one is more SEO friendly url or the first one?

Numbers don't mean much it give a descriptive view on what the web address is about - so just using words would be much better

Text URL helps browsers to guess about the webpage content without opening the page. Apart from that it is more descriptive to search engines and defines your webpage title in the URL itself.

Thank you for the insights, i have seen Xenforo powered forums use numbers and they rank high in Google.

There are various plugins to make MyBB more SEO friendly, check out "Google SEO" plugin for 1.6.x and I believe 1.8.x

Text is far better than numbers in a SEO standpoint since it makes it easier for guests to read and also search engines to understand what the topic may be about.

When people are looking at a link to my website, I want them to know the link's URL and the subject, so I prefer to use descriptive URLs like XenForo has. However, apart from that observation, many people are correct in saying that most people don't pay attention to URL structure, apart from it giving information about the source. Finally, as far as SEO is concerned, I think URL structure's effect is overrated.
